Linguistic Discourses-A medium for  assessing  the impact of self directed learning and meta cognitive awareness  on the students at secondary level

The study revealed that metacognitive  practices were found  to be very helpful  in group discussion enhancing thinking,exchanging their views with peers and making  learning  interesting and memorable.These methods of  qualitative data collection provided   the learners a blank canvas  to paint whatever picture  they desire in terms of their  satisfaction/dissatisfaction  levels and intended behaviours
