Customs for constructing a culture of thinking and assessment modalities  in classrooms:An experimental study

The study aimed to  implement metacognitive  practices towards constructing  a culture of thinking in classrooms and to analyze the impact of  self assessment techniques  through the creation of  a strategy evaluation proforma  on the select classroom practice.The study revealed that  this type  of assessment technique  will enhance  creative thoughts  of students  as well as promote  thinking capabilities of learners.
